Graphic 45 Projects

Journal

For Christmas this year I made my sister a journal to gather ideas and thoughts for her writing. The inspiration behind the whole thing was Graphic 45's paper amazing paper line, Steampunk Debutante. It was my first attempt at creating a journal like this and I really enjoyed it. The paper line was perfect for my sister, very eclectic. Here are what the front outside and inside cover looked like as well as the back inside and outside cover. I added different details to the inside pages as well and will include pictures of those at a later date(I took about 50+ pictures of the inside pages and don't want to post every single one). Not Like the Movies Scrapbook

Its amazing the effect that song lyrics can have on you! Katy Perry's song, "Not Like the Movies" is one of those songs that hit home. The lyrics are powerful and when you add the Curtain Call paper line by Graphic 45 to it...well they're a perfect match! Movies back in the 40's were so grand and the paper line helped me with creating a grand feeling to the scrapbook. My next step with this is to create a box to keep it in using the same paper line. Alice's Notes
This is the the notebook that I created using Graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland line. This was my first project after the journal I created for my sister and it was the perfect size and the paper was a lot of fun to work with. Please click on the picture to view the project.

Mirror, Mirror
My first attempt at working on something other than a scrapbook. I've had this Ikea mirror sitting around my house for sometime now. The paper is from Graphic 45's new Le Cirque line. One of the pages has tons of words printed on it describing a circus, but surprisingly the words could be used to describe a person and thought that it would be great to create an encouraging mirror. Daring Keychain
This keychain was created using Graphic 45's newest paperline, Le Cirque. I've never created a keychain before, but it was super simple. Please click on the picture to view all photos for this project.

Vacuum up Dreams

I have had this quote around forever and always wanted a way to present it that would make me reflect on it. When I saw the Domestic Goddess product line by Graphic 45 I knew that it would fit the quote perfectly! In fact, there's an "advertisement" for a cleaning service. Love it!! Life's a Circus Book Box

I saw this ready to finish box in the shape of a book and thought that it would make a great starting point for a scrapbook. The Le Cirque paper line from Graphic 45 brought on the idea of doing a scrapbook about me (something I've never done before). Right now I have only the box created. The next step is creating from scratch the scrapbook. I love the circus theme because it kind of describes parts of my life (especially the tag on the front of the box). Putting on the Ritz Photo Clip

I wanted a special way to display my niece's dance photos and I've had this giant clothes pin sitting around forever so I thought that the Curtain Call paper line from Graphic 45 was a great way to display her talent! Click on the picture to view all photos of this project.

Steampunk Picture Frame

I love picture frames! And I love the Steampunk Debutante paper line from Graphic 45. So when you put the two together - I'm a happy camper. The Steampunk Debutante line is so easy to work with and I love the way it looks in the end. Click on the picture to view all photos for this project.

Romantic Box

I loved how easy this box went together. I thought at first leaving it the way it is and using it as a jewelry box. The paper that covers it is perfect for that (its from the Le' Romantique paper line by Graphic 45) but I'm thinking now of making a mini album to go inside and using the box as a way to hold it.
